my first ever crocheted garment, i'm happy with how it turned out!! if anyone is curious for reference i made a size small and i'm 5'4", only ended up using 300 or so grams
there were a few points i was confused on. somehow i ended up switching hook sizes because when i did the gauge, the 5mm was right for the ribbing and 4 mm was right for the griddle stitch part, but i think that may have ended up making mine fit strange. sometimes WS and RS was unclear especially since i am not as experienced and also left handed. i also would've appreciated more measurements or pictures along the way, i wondered "is this right?" a lot of times. abbreviations didn't mention FLO but luckily i already knew it.
if i were to make this again i would ignore what i got for gauge and stick with the recommended hook size so i could get that nice tapered look, when laid flat mine definitely is more rectangular. i also might move the buttons a stitch or two closer together, the top button feels a little high. overall i am happy with this garment and the design!!
The pattern is super easy to follow!
