Overall decently written pattern, however:
1: as noted in other reviews, the ribbing is accidentally written as being in yarn over slip stitch, when it should actually be constructed with back loop only yarn over slip stitches.
2: nowhere in the pattern is it marked that chaining 2 counts as the first stitch, it is only mentioned in the linked tutorial for the alpine stitch, which confused me for several rows and threw off my count, until I watched the video to see what I was doing wrong. I am still not convinced I have it quite right, more photographs might be useful especially when it comes to the edges of the panels.
