I got there in the end and the shop owner was very attentive and helpful however there were a few issues. The pattern diagram is incorrect at the start, it is a drop shoulder cardigan, not inverted shoulders. Also shows arrows going up and down for the back of the base but it is just straight granny stitch rows as you can see in the photo. So I found the diagrams really confusing. The neck band would be easier just crocheting directly onto the cardigan as opposed to making a strip and then attaching as you need to decrease along the neckline. I just created straight panels for the back and front panels and followed a YouTube tutorial to help. The sizing of the cardigan was really good though.
